Sanitary Sight Windows

Penberthy's Sanitary Sight Windows have been designed to enhance the visibility of the process media as it comes in contact with the window. The glass windows assist the operations manager by creating a window to the process. Penberthy models are available in a variety of sizes.

System Description

Penberthy's Sanitary Sight Windows consist of five basic components. Each component may vary slightly, depending on the desired physical and mechanical properties for the indicators.

  • Glass - the glass discs are installed to provide the window of observation of the media passing through the body.
  • Gaskets - the gaskets are compressed by the clamps to tightly seal the gap between the body and the glass, and to prevent leaking.
  • Cushions - the cushions are compressed by the clamps to tightly seal the gap between the glass and the cover.
  • Cover - supplies the compression load to the gaskets, glass and cushion to seal all gaps when the clamp is tightened.
  • Clamp - grooved clamp that draws two flanged ends together when tightened. One and two hinged clamps are available.
